QA Readiness Checklist
Category:  Manual QA

Release readiness isn't a checkbox—it's a mindset. Manual UAT, smoke suites, and regression checklists are the final gatekeepers that determine whether your feature ships smoothly or breaks production.

"If you don't have time to test it right, when will you have time to fix it?"
1. Pre-Release Smoke Tests

Before any release goes live, run a focused smoke test suite covering critical user journeys. Login, checkout, payment processing—if any of these fail, the release stops. No exceptions.

2. UAT Cycles

User Acceptance Testing is where business logic meets real-world usage. We involve product owners and key stakeholders in UAT sessions to validate that the feature not only works, but solves the right problem.

3. Regression Checklists

Every release has the potential to break something that was working before. We maintain living regression checklists that evolve with each sprint, ensuring that known edge cases and critical paths are always verified.

Release readiness is about building confidence. When QA signs off, the team ships with peace of mind.
